Kongnso Wiylahnyuy Edith is a geospatial analyst and a research officer, with master’s degree in geography and a postgraduate diploma from the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in English (ARCSSTE-E) affiliated to the United Nations.  She is currently a PhD fellow, With seven years of experience as a Geospatial Analyst, and mastery of Remote sensing, digital Photogrammetry and Cartography and its application in the domain of natural resource management and environmental protection with wetlands management as her speciality as a researcher.

She has contributed through her publications in the application of geospatial technology and geography. She is an enthusiastic researcher and geomatician with prospects of a bright career ahead of her. Her thematic research areas focuses on urban wetland conservation and urban waste management. She currently leads a research project on wetland conservation in the City of Yaounde and Douala.
